An AI voice agent for your inbound calls

Missed calls are lost requests, and a saturated switchboard degrades service for everyone. An AI voice agent picks up immediately, understands a freely worded request and acts: it informs, books an appointment, opens a ticket or hands over to the right person with the context.

The problem

A touch-tone menu forces callers into boxes decided in advance. A voice agent built on a language model understands a natural sentence, asks a clarifying question and can query your systems during the conversation.

Making an AI talk is not the hard part. Real time is: latency, interruptions, noise, proper names, and above all deciding when to hand over to a human.

How we work

  1. 1

Define what the agent is allowed to do

We list call reasons with you, then decide for each: the agent handles it, the agent qualifies then transfers, or the agent transfers at once. A narrow, well-kept scope beats an agent that attempts everything.

  2. 2

    Connect telephony and your tools

Connection to your existing number (SIP or carrier), to your calendar, CRM or ticketing tool. The agent states nothing it has not checked in your systems: an offered slot is a slot that is actually free.

  3. 3

    Work on the conversation

Speech recognition adapted to your vocabulary, interruption handling, rephrasing to confirm sensitive information, a tone that fits your company. We test on real calls recorded with consent, not on ideal scripts.

  4. 4

    Supervise

Transcript and summary of every call, reason, outcome, transfer rate. Calls where the agent failed are reviewed weekly at the start: that is where the improvements are.

What makes these projects fail

Hiding that it is an AI

Callers must know who they are talking to, and be able to ask for a human at any time. It is a transparency requirement, and it is also what makes the agent acceptable.

Underestimating latency

Beyond a second of silence, conversation becomes painful. The choice of components (recognition, model, synthesis) and of their hosting is made on this criterion first.

Forgetting compliance

Recording, transcription, retention period, caller notice: these are settled with your DPO before go-live, not after.

What you receive

  • Map of call reasons and transfer rules
  • Voice agent connected to your telephony
  • Calendar, CRM or ticketing integrations
  • Transcripts, summaries and call dashboard
  • Human handover procedure and fallback scenarios

Frequently asked questions

Can the agent transfer the call to a person?

Yes, and it is a core function. The transfer goes to the right team with a summary of the request, so the caller does not have to repeat everything. Transfer rules are defined with you, reason by reason.

Do we need to change number or carrier?

Usually not. The agent connects to your existing number, either through call forwarding or a SIP link with your carrier or PBX.

Which languages can the agent speak?

The speech recognition and synthesis components we use cover the main European languages. Quality varies with language and accent: we check it on your calls before committing to a scope.

Is your situation close to this one?

Describe it in a few lines. We will tell you whether AI is the right answer — and we will also tell you when it is not.
